The leaked screenshots of the beta version for iOS have surfaced online. “Video Call” option icon can be seen on the top right of the chat screen. The beta app version is available for iOS devices with version 2.16.3.523, the video call option will be rolled out within this week or more with version 2.16.3.525. iOS users can also test the beta version of WhatsApp, however your iPhone must be jailbroken with Cydia installed, PhoneRadar stated. Skype and Facebook Messenger are widely preferred platforms for making video calls. “Voice Calling” feature was introduced to WhatsApp last year. Facebook introduced group calling feature to its Messenger App, however there is no such information about unveiling same to the WhatsApp. So, if rumors are to be believed, developers are building a desktop app with video calling option for Windows and Mac OS X. However, the WhatsApp hasn’t yet confirmed about the video calling feature for Windows and Mac OS X. Earlier, it was reported that WhatsApp for Android and iOS will come with bunch of features like call back, voice-mail, and zip files sharing support.
